Bad breeding practices with dogs can cause a lot of problems. One particular practice is inbreeding where two dogs that are related to each other are forced to mate to produce puppies. This particular practice can result in dogs being born with congenital disorders, which can drastically affect their lives.
In most cases, the puppies with congenital disorders eventually get euthanized. Almost no one wants to adopt them and veterinarians will recommend euthanasia as the dog will not have a good quality of life and will have further suffering. Thankfully, some puppies survive and are given a second chance to live happily and comfortably.
A Siberian Husky named Maya was a product of bad breeding practices from a backyard breeder. Maya was born with no paws on all her four legs. Although Maya could walk, it’s painful and she can only walk for a few meters before she starts experiencing pain. Maya also had hip issues and could barely stand.
Thankfully, a kindhearted person named Kitiya Boonyung happened to meet Maya at a shelter and decided to adopt her. Kitiya didn’t care about Maya’s condition. All Kitiya believed was that all dogs deserve a second chance at happiness and Maya definitely deserves to have a loving forever home.
When Maya turned one-year-old, Kitiya brought Maya to a veterinarian who fitted Maya with a wheelchair. Using the wheelchair was a little bit of a learning curve for Maya and she didn’t adjust straightaway. However, when Maya finally got the hang of moving with the wheelchair, she looks forward to using it so she can go outside for a walk.
Maya’s life changed thanks to her wheelchair and also her loving mom, Kitiya. After Maya learned how to use the wheelchair, she became a lot happier and a lot more active. Here’s a heartwarming video showing Maya living the best life she could ever have thanks to her loving forever mom.
