Whatever you think of Russia’s President, this story will either confirm or deny that. This one’s about the Iron Man himself and his fondness for the canine species.
He’s known for his strong arm and non-relenting approach to politics, but it looks like he has a soft spot too. Various leaders of different countries have previously given him pups because of his love for them.
In this story, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić gave Russia’s Vladimir Putin a present during a visit to Serbia. It was a formal affair, so when the pup was ushered in, the poor baby felt intimidated.
The puppy was named Pasha, a three-month-old Yugoslavian Shepherd. This breed is primarily known for its large size and resistance to cold, so we think this pup will be right at home in Russia’s climate.
Mr. Putin immediately got himself acquainted after the puppy was presented to him. He got down on one knee, suit and all, to assure the terrified pet.
Pasha was a bit wary at first, but the doggo soon got used to President Putin. The puppy probably wondered why there were so many suits walking around, not that it mattered.
Russia’s President gave the pup some loving strokes and then some treats while he waited for the puppy to acknowledge him. You could say he knows a lot about dogs because he got down to make himself as small as possible.
To a puppy, that meant that this person was saying he’s not a threat. The fur pet soon wagged its tail, letting everyone know that this guy’s okay as far as it was concerned.
It’s safe to say that Serbia and Russia will enjoy a healthy relationship for years to come, and this pup could say that it was instrumental in making that happen. Enjoy your new environment, Pasha!
