One pup named Rajah was in the backyard of her home in Greenville, South Carolina, relaxing and chilling with her dog sibling when their neighbor started lighting up some fireworks. Her owner, Mary Lynn, saw that, and knowing how Rajah was scared of fireworks, she went to check on them in the backyard. But when she did, Rajah was already nowhere to be seen.
Worried, she immediately went to Facebook to post about her missing dog who was 18 months old at the time. Lynn and her husband Ryan also did their own search, driving around their neighborhood and also recruiting others to help them. They drove for hours but they didn’t find Rajah.
So, the couple went home and waited. And when they were ready to call all the shelters if they had seen Rajah, she popped into the camera. It was 3 in the morning, she rang the doorbell then jumped up and stuck her face right in the camera attached to the doorbell. Ryan ran off when he saw her and quickly got her inside the house.
Lynn was so amazed that Rajah actually knew how to ring the doorbell because she had never shown her how. Additionally, she rarely went out into the front yard except to the car so she had never seen them use the doorbell either.
When Rajah returned home, she thought she was in trouble and she was just so sad. But the truth was, Lynn and her husband were just so happy she was back. And seeing her reaction to the situation actually made it hilarious for them and they just couldn’t stop laughing.
But they still didn’t know where she spent almost seven and a half hours. But if there were any hints, she had thorns on her body and it seemed like she also rolled over in some really dirty place. Nevertheless, she came back alive and well and she most likely had a great adventure time.
