We hoomans couldn’t remember the time we took our first bath, but dogs sure do. Two things will most likely happen – either they’ll like it or they won’t.
This German Shepherd puppy named Rocky was about to have his first-ever bath. The pup looked on curiously as the water flowed out from the faucet.
He sniffed it at first, and then, he started to taste it. Rocky decided he liked it, so the pup allowed his hooman dad to do whatever it was that needed to be done.
Soon, the water got all his fur sticking out every which way, and Rocky started to feel a little chilly. His hooman started putting some bubbly stuff that smelled good to the pup.
Rocky’s expression showed just how he felt about the bath – a little cold, but a little fun too. So he stayed put, letting his hooman wash him down.
It wasn’t long before the puppy started to tremble, still managing to look adorable despite his appearance and his obvious discomfort.
The wet look fits you, Rocky – we prefer the dry one, though, but you’re adorable in both looks, trust us! After a thorough scrubbing and rubbing, the puppy felt the water on his body again.
That’s the final run, doggo, which means you’re almost done! A soft fluffy towel will be used to rub you dry, then a drink and some treats later, you’ll hit the sheets in no time.
Next time, it would be good to ask your hooman for specifics. How long will the bath take, and how many times will you be rubbed all over?
We think he didn’t answer you when you sent him this questioning glance before the shower began. Now that you know how things go down, you know what to expect next time.
