Dogs and coffee are two of the most beloved things on earth. If you come across a place that has both of them, how would you feel?
You’ll probably be too excited because you get to drink a delicious cup of joe while hanging out with adorable creatures. This place is authentic, and it’s in Bangkok, Thailand, called Corgi in the Garden.
Café owner, Tanchanok Kanawaong, serves coffee and she also owns a whopping 13 Corgis who help entertain their customers.
Tanchanok shared that she loves big dogs and used to own 10 Siberian Huskies and Golden Retrievers simultaneously. After their passing, she wanted to try small dogs who are as fun as her previous ones and settled with Corgis.
In 2018, she adopted one boy pup, then came another until the number reached a dozen.
Seven of the Corgis are children of the mommy and daddy Corgi named Quinn and Dean. The seven pups’ names are Blossom, Buttercup, Bone, Bluebell, Bean, Babycorn, and Barely.
The remaining three, Salmon, Porkchop, and Pumpkin, are from different parents, but they’re considered siblings.
Finally, in 2019, the last member of their family arrived, Marmalade. Tamnchanok described her as bright and charming. All in all, the café has 13 Corgis who are ready to meet dozens of friendly people every day.
Sure, people wouldn’t mind some caffeine for the day, but they care more about the adorable dogs. They can shake the Corgis’ paws and then give them treats and cuddles. Everyone is happy with the interaction.
Caring for her dogs’ well-being, Tanchanako makes sure that her Corgis get breaks within each day so they can exercise as well and take their naps. They have to stay strong, healthy, and not overworked.
Tanchanako remarked that Corgis are very easy to love and are undoubtedly friendly; that’s why she opened a café with her lovely pets’ participation so other people can relieve some of their stress through them.
Undoubtedly, many people want to grab tickets to Bangkok just to visit this café.
But to those who can’t, we can admire them from afar through our computers and cellphones so we can share their story. If you want details about the café’s opening time, check out their Instagram account.
